be used to plant files on your computer if you don't know what yourdoing. If your going "huh?" and dont
know what I"m talking about then you had just better do it andworry about understanding it later.
Today May 19, 99 I just discovered on my main computer that I hadbeen infected with one of the
most dangerous trojan horses around, of the BackOriface Family, calledNetBus. It hooks your critical system
operations and allows a person to control your computer, upload anddowload files, move files,
run various off screen system commands, it will actually allow thehacker to open and close
your CD tray and listen to anything you say or conversations you have ifour microphone is
on and attached to your mic port. They can monitor and copy everythngyou do, say or write on yoru
computer. Monitor what files you dowload and where you go and what youdo on the internet. All
without you knowing it. Pretty scarey eh? Talk about settingsomeone up, you could
upload any file you want, an illegal image file for example and plant itin some obscure folder on your
computer and then drop a dime on you to the local kiddie porn activistsand when they come to
check out your computer, and you say, sure go ahead, knowing that youhave nothing on there that
would cause you trouble. To your horror they find a folder cram full of2 mgs of kiddie porn. Duh!!
Life for you is over as you know it.
For this reason and for many others it is important that you learn howto protect yourself from having
these trojans planted on your computer and to learn how to get ridof it if you've been infected and
how to find out if you are being currently invaded or monitored.

When I ran this I detected an old installation of BackOffice on my owncomputer, Oh Shitttt.
Fortunately it turned out it wasn't actified.
NetBus Trojan Horse like BackOriface was developed by hackers to takeadvantage of
the lack of security on the internet in general and is one of the mostadvanced and viscious Trojans
you can get. Lucky me eh? Guess what, I have no idea how I got iteither, I run a fully updated
version of Norton Anti-Virus on my computer and it didnt detect mygetting the infection but
it did find the virus when I did a full virus check. I was tipped off tosomething when I started
haveing a huge drain on my system and was locking up just opening onescreen of my browser.
Its possible that someone was accessing my system right at that momentand was uploading
or downloading files or was running some operation that sucked up thememory, I'm not sure.
I ran a check of my boot drive right away, and it picked up two infectedfiles. One in my
windows directory and one in my window/system folder. If the testerabove said you are
vulnerable you had better run a complete hard disc checkup with yourvirust program.
